Moorehead Waterfront

Morehead City's busy and colorful waterfront offers many attractions for visiting boaters. The Morehead channel strikes north immediately west of the Morehead City Turning Basin near flashing daybeacon #MC. Minimum depths from the channel's eastern entrance to the western tip of the developed waterfront are 10 feet. The cut's western exodus leads back into the ICW at flashing daybeacon #4 and has minimum soundings of 5 to 5½ feet at low water.
